JIS Grade 7 waterproof protection
The IC-M31 has waterproof protection, equivalent to JIS waterproof specification grade 7 *. Equivalent to IPX7 of the corresponding international standard IEC 60529 (2001). 1m depth for 30 minutes.
Easy to see LCD and large channel indication
The IC-M31 has a large (32x16mm) easy to see LCD. The Volume and SQL levels are shown in the display, with LCD and key backlighting standard for night time operation.
